 Sussex Fire Department is the second oldest fire department in Sussex County, NJ. The department was organized in 1896 when Sussex Boro was known as Deckertown. Please see the history section of our web site to find out more.

  Sussex Fire Department provides fire and emergency services to Sussex Boro and parts of Wantage Township as well as mutual aid to surrounding communities when called upon to do so.

  In addition, we have a hall available for rental for parties or events you may want to hold. Also check out our events section as we hold numerous fund raisers through out the year.
